Ecostar dual-fuel burners — gas and oil.
One burner for two fuels: natural gas or LPG, plus light fuel oil. Uninterrupted operation during gas supply outages, and the option to choose whichever fuel is cheaper.
A dual-fuel burner runs on gas and switches to oil when needed. It is a solution for plants where an interruption to heating or the process would cost more than a more expensive fuel.
When it makes sense to choose two fuels
- Uninterrupted operation — the gas supplier may restrict offtake at peak times; the burner switches to oil.
- Price flexibility — choosing the fuel depending on price.
- Independence — installations where a gas-supply failure must not be allowed to stop production.

Limitations worth knowing about
FPB dual-fuel burners (gas + light oil) are designed for oil with a viscosity of up to a few cSt (2.5–6 cSt per the manufacturer's instructions) and for natural gas and LPG at a supply pressure of 20–300 mbar. We always check whether the conditions in your installation fall within these limits.
Send us the data from the boiler or furnace nameplate — we will size the burner.
